About Our Client
Slice of Nature Food is a local business in the Whitsundays that makes weekly wholesome food boxes and provisioning/holiday catering packages and delivers them right to your door.
The Challenge
Slice of Nature Food got in contact with Seven Sands with the goal to create a website that their customers could visit to order weekly food boxes. They wanted to make the order process as quick and simple for their customers as possible whilst keeping to a clean and minimal design. Over time we have worked with Slice of Nature Food to expand their business by adding Provisioning and Holiday packages and Platters.
What We Did
Seven Sands built Slice Of Nature Foods website on WordPress using WooCommerce. WooCommerce is an open source eCommerce platform and is designed for small to large-sized online businesses. It was the perfect platform for this project because it allowed us to add as much functionality as we needed.
Slice of Nature Food wanted to be able to add the option for their customers to select what menu items they would like in their box, number of people eating and how many days worth of food they would like. We made this all possible and even gave them the ability to log in and update the menu items themselves.
The Result
Hayley at Slice Of Nature Food was very happy with the finished website and found the back end very easy to use. She has returned to use Seven Sands to add extra parts to her website e.g. closing dates, extra packages and landing pages.
